This video was commissioned to promote the work that Charlton Athletic Community Trust does in the field of Equality and Diversity. It also tells the story of Ben Odeje, the first black player to play for England, who also played for Charlton Athletic.
Here is a comment from our client:
'The recent video we worked on together was played on the big screen at half time during a Charlton Athletic FC home game – and we had an incredible response, not only from the local community groups who were taking part in the match day activities, but from the fans too!
We have played the video to a number of other CARE partners, and have received very positive feedback. We have also used the film as part of a major CACT presentation to a large public sector organisation, who were equally impressed.
I am particularly pleased how the film focuses on Ben, as England’s first Black footballer, and then goes on to capture the essence and ethos of both CARE and CACT, as a leading football based charity. The video is structured in such a way that it provides a great context and linear narrative to the work we deliver, and has been extremely well received all round.
The filming was also delivered in a very professional and well organised way – and the creative input and expertise of the Lesage Design Team has resulted in a video that is already the most watched CACT video on YouTube!
I very much look forward to working with you again, on our next project!'
